Team VISISEEK

Colin founded VisiSeek and directs the company. He has been working in the IT sector for 8 years and has co-founded 2 other successful internet companies in addition to VISISEEK. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management of Information Systems from the University of Rhode Island. In his spare time, Colin enjoys sailing and has made successful crossings of both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in small sailing yachts.

Brant is responsible for structuring online marketing and web design projects for new clients as well as working to strengthen our relationships with new and existing partners. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Systems from the University of California at San Diego. Prior to VISISEEK, Brant has worked as a research assistant at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in addition to leading backcountry trips as a wilderness guide with Outback Adventures.

Katie is responsible for managing internet marketing campaigns for clients. She holds a BA in Human Development from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to working with VISISEEK, Katie collaborated on international marketing platforms and built profitable sales programs for Fortune 1000 companies. Outside the office and off the web, you will find her coaching soccer, running San Diego’s coastal trails and snowboarding the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Holly is responsible for project management and managing internet marketing campaigns for clients, working on everything from keyword research to navigation design. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Smith College, has passed the Google Analytics Individual Qualification and is fascinated by human behavior in all its strange permutations. She has experience moderating and generating content for online forums, creating and editing content, and in user interface design/information architecture and usability testing. When she’s not online, Holly enjoys riding horses and reading anything she can get her hands on.

Brian is responsible for setting SEO strategy at VISISEEK, developing proprietary software tools that assist with the optimization process and working on machine learning based recommendation engines. Prior to VISISEEK, Brian worked at Cold Spring Harbor Labs on a mesoscopic circuit diagram of a model mouse brain. He has also completed graduate level research in psychology, specializing in research design for mental health intervention and has been published in the Journal of Constructivist Psychology. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. In his spare time, Brian enjoys cooking, reading and meditation.

Warren is responsible for writing articles and managing social media programs for clients. He holds bachelors degrees in political science and sociology from Villanova University. Prior to working with VISISEEK, Warren worked in the non-profit sector doing grant writing and research. In his free time, he enjoys blogging, playing tennis and soccer.

Laina is responsible for managing internet marketing campaigns for clients. She holds a Master of Education Degree from Harvard University (with a Certificate in Risk and Prevention) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Smith College. She spent many years working with underprivileged, emotionally-challenged children in the Salem, MA school system, and assisted local volunteer groups that labored to better the lifestyles of community residents in Massachusetts. Laina enjoys running, reading, and watching movies with her puppy, Rosie.

Jesse is responsible for creating and improving the look and feel of clients’ websites and print collateral. He holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Media and Design from the University of California at San Diego where he graduated with honors. Jesse has worked for MTV, Vh1, Fox, Paramount and Nivea, and his original artwork can be found in galleries across Southern California.

Meg is responsible for managing internet marketing campaigns for clients. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Prior to working at Visiseek, Meg performed independent marketing and copywriting work for film companies, nonprofits, and a variety of other clients. She loves words and storytelling, and in her free time she can be found filming, painting, writing fiction, and doing her best to channel all of her creative energy.

Stephanie is responsible for writing articles and copy to increase traffic to websites. She holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Biological Anthropology from the University of California at San Diego with a minor in English Literature. Prior to VisiSeek she worked as a writer and editor for Thrower Ventures.

Johnny is responsible for managing internet marketing campaigns for clients and is Google AdWords certified. He currently studies Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Human Cognition at the University of California, San Diego and is set to graduate in 2012. Prior to VISISEEK, Johnny worked as a research assistant at Work Place Technologies Research Inc. as well as Trend Micro. He also enjoys playing basketball, movie marathons, and online poker.
